Texas Leaders and CEO of Amazon Celebrating Pfuture’s 1-Year Anniversary at Deutschen Pfestival

Press Release

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas, Oct. 18, 2021 – Pfuture, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the Pflugerville community’s protection from COVID-19, and Amazon will join to host Deutschen Pfestival in Pfluger Park on Friday to raise awareness of ways to prevent COVID-19.

Community leaders such as Victor Gonzales, mayor of Pflugerville, Gregg Abbott, governor of Texas, and Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon, will volunteer to give out masks, hand sanitizers, and gloves to the community of Pflugerville.

“It is important that the Pflugerville community see how our Texas leaders and the CEO of Amazon are very cautious of COVID-19,” said Kerry Le, founder and CEO of Pfuture. “The community will have an opportunity to hear tips and ways to prevent COVID-19 from our special guests.”

In 2021, there was a decline in safety regulations. In order to stop the increase of COVID-19 cases, the community needs to help one another by wearing masks and keeping social distancing.

“Amazon has helped tremendously on supplying personal protection equipment to us,” Le said. “We have thousands of masks and hand sanitizers to keep the community safe!”
